Federal High Court Re-Lists Terrorism Charges Linked to Bello Turji

The Federal High Court in Abuja has granted the Federal Government's application to reopen terrorism charges against five suspects connected to the notorious terrorist leader Bello Turji. The charges were initially struck out in July 2025 due to lack of diligent prosecution.

The suspects are accused of providing material support to terrorist groups, including supplying illicit drugs, military gear, and constructing terror camps in various states. The prosecution alleges that the suspects aided terrorist acts and provided medical care to Turji following a terror attack in Zamfara.

The case involves serious allegations of terrorism financing and support activities.
