Ferran Torres Joins PSG from Barcelona for €50 Million

Ferran Torres has officially transferred from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) for a reported fee of around €50 million. The 26-year-old forward signed a contract that extends until 2031, reuniting with coach Luis Enrique, who previously gave him his debut for the Spanish national team.

Torres expressed dissatisfaction with his treatment at Barcelona, feeling unrecognized despite his contributions, which included 207 appearances, 65 goals, and 22 assists over four-and-a-half years. His notable achievements at Barcelona included winning three La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey, and three Spanish Super Cups.

In the 2025/26 season, he scored 16 league goals and played a crucial role in the Copa del Rey final. Torres also scored the decisive goal for Spain in the 2026 World Cup final against Argentina.

His decision to join PSG was influenced by his relationship with Luis Enrique, and the transfer was completed on August 15.
