Nigeria, UK Sign MoU for Swift Deportation of Nationals

On a state visit to the UK, Nigerian President Bola Tinubu and UK Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to facilitate the swift deportation of Nigerians with visa overstays and other immigration violations. The agreement, announced on a recent date, emphasizes that the UK will recognize the Nigerian government for the first time in this context, allowing for the expedited return of individuals without valid passports.
