FG Signs Major Road Contracts to Boost Infrastructure

On Thursday, the Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Federal Ministry of Works led by Engr. David Umahi, signed landmark contract agreements for the construction of four major road projects across the country. This initiative is part of the administration's "Renewed Hope" agenda under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The contracts include: 1) Messrs. J.

Patel & Sons Nigeria Limited for the reconstruction of the Mando-Kaduna-Birnin Gwari road in Kaduna State, valued at 178,116,787,162 Naira for a length of 122 kilometers; 2) Messrs. JRB Construction Company Limited for the dualization of the Ibadan-Ijebu Ode road in Oyo and Ogun States, costing 295,996,609,992 Naira for 114.5 kilometers; 3) Messrs.

Truecret Solutions Limited for the construction of the Osogbo-Ikirun-Akoda road in Osun State, at 101,806,585,825 Naira for 70 kilometers; and 4) Messrs. Peculiar Ultimate Concern Limited for the Osogbo-Iwo-Ibadan road in Osun and Oyo States, totaling 114,854,477,607 Naira for 73 kilometers.

Umahi emphasized the importance of these projects for national infrastructure and economic activity, urging contractors to commence work immediately.
