NDDC Opens Scholarship Portal for 2026-2027 Session

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has announced the opening of its scholarship portal for foreign master's and postgraduate programs for the 2026-2027 academic session. The application period runs from March 23, 2026, to April 19, 2026.

This scholarship scheme aims to equip young Nigerians from the Niger Delta region with advanced education and professional training, enhancing their capacity to participate in local content development and improving their competitiveness in the global job market. Applicants must possess either a first-class or second-class upper division degree from a recognized institution and be no older than 40 years at the time of application.

Required documents include a recent passport photograph, a local government identification letter, and a postgraduate admission letter from a recognized overseas university. Successful applicants will be shortlisted based on their WASSCE/NECO results and undergraduate degree classification, followed by a computer-based test in River State.

The scholarship is fully funded, with preference given to applicants from oil-producing states in the Niger Delta.
