FG To Share N25,000 Monthly Each to Families, Lists Beneficiaries

The Federal Government has announced plans to provide N25,000 monthly to 15 million vulnerable citizens through the National Cash Transfer Programme. The Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, Toyin Balogun, revealed this at a stakeholder meeting in Ibadan.

The Permanent Secretary of the ministry emphasized the importance of social protection in combating poverty. The state Cash Unit has made significant progress in reaching households in extreme poverty.

Beneficiaries receive the funds directly into verified accounts linked to their National Identification Numbers and Bank Verification Numbers for transparency. The state Programme Manager highlighted the importance of valid NINs for eligibility.

The initiative aims to simplify the disbursement process by linking beneficiaries' accounts to receive funds directly. This program is part of the government's efforts to address poverty and economic vulnerability.
