FG Launches Digital HR Platform for Civil Servants

On Thursday, the Federal Government of Nigeria unveiled a digital Human Resources platform and a public service mentorship program during a stakeholder event at the Rotunda Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja. Nkiruka Jones Nebo, the Permanent Secretary of the Career Management Office and Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, described the launch as a strategic reform to modernize public service operations and prepare a new generation of leaders.

The digital HR platform, known as the IPPI HR Employee Self-Service Application, aims to simplify human resource processes, reduce administrative bottlenecks, and improve efficiency across ministries, departments, and agencies. The mentorship program is designed to facilitate knowledge transfer and strengthen institutional memory, representing a significant reform in talent development within the civil service.

The Permanent Secretary commended the leadership of the civil service and emphasized the importance of these initiatives in building a capable workforce to meet evolving government challenges.
