FG Commits to Ending Insecurity in Zamfara State

The Federal Government of Nigeria, under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has committed to addressing the insecurity issues plaguing Zamfara State, particularly the rampant banditry affecting the region. Vice President Kashim Shettima represented President Tinubu during an event in Gusau on Tuesday, where he acknowledged the significance of Governor Dauda Lawal's return to the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a major breakthrough.

Shettima emphasized that the Federal Government will collaborate closely with the Zamfara State government to combat terrorism and restore peace in the state. President Tinubu expressed his deep concern regarding the insecurity in Zamfara, which has broader implications for the North West region of Nigeria.
