FG vows to hunt down killers of Kastina mosque worshippers

The Federal Government has vowed to hunt down and bring to justice the killers of worshippers at a mosque in Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State. The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, condemned the "callous and barbaric attack" on innocent citizens gathered for peaceful worship, stating that the perpetrators must be apprehended and held accountable for their actions.

Security forces are already on the trail of the criminals, with no stone being left unturned in the pursuit of justice. The government assured Nigerians that swift and decisive action will be taken to ensure that such acts of terror do not take root in the country.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu also extended his condolences to the families of the deceased. The recent arrest of top leaders of terrorist groups by the Nigeria National Centre (NCTC) is seen as a significant success in the country's counter-terrorism efforts.

The government reiterated its commitment to ensuring that those who shed innocent blood find no hiding place.
