‘They’re cowards’ – Katsina Govt blasts attackers of worshipers

The Katsina State Government strongly criticized the attackers who killed worshipers in a Mosque in Malumfashi Local Government area, labeling them as "cowards." Acting Governor Alhaji Faruq expressed his disappointment during the inauguration of eight new Armoured Personnel Carriers (APC) aimed at enhancing the fight against banditry in the state. The government highlighted the recent attack on worshipers as a tragic and unfortunate incident, emphasizing the need for increased security measures.

The state government has successfully secured four out of eight frontline local governments from bandit attacks and urged the community to remain vigilant. The government commended the community's bravery in resisting the bandits and called for the Federal Government's intervention in addressing the security challenges.
