Fidelity Bank Distributes 180,000 Food Packs in Kogi

Fidelity Bank Nigeria Plc has distributed 180,000 food packs across Nigeria, focusing on six geopolitical zones, with a notable event in Lokoja, Kogi State. Mr.

Bless Onuemer, representing the bank, announced the initiative, which is part of the Fidelity Food Bank program launched in April 2023 to combat hunger and support local communities. During the Lokoja event, Mr.

Nuhu Omal, the Lokoja branch manager, welcomed attendees and highlighted the program's goal of achieving zero hunger as part of the Sustainable Development Goals. The distribution event aimed to provide essential food supplies to 1,000 beneficiaries, enhancing their living conditions.

Governor Usman Ododo commended Fidelity Bank for its social intervention efforts, assuring continued support for enabling business environments. Mr.

Farouk Yahaya, the state commissioner for water resources, expressed gratitude for the bank's outreach, particularly benefiting vulnerable groups such as youth and women. The initiative is expected to positively impact approximately 1.8 million youths in the North Central zone.
