Onedosh Sponsors Citi VC Cup University Football Tournament

Onedosh, a fintech platform, concluded its sponsorship of the Citi VC Cup university football tournament held in Ibadan, aimed at enhancing financial service adoption among young users and expanding its campus presence. The tournament featured 12 teams and 250 student players, drawing between 80 to 150 spectators.

It ended on April 9, with a grand prize of ₦1,000,000 and a runner-up prize of ₦500,000. Babatunde Osinowo, co-founder of Onedosh, stated that the sponsorship was designed to integrate financial services into the everyday experiences of students and positively position the brand within youth culture and sports.

Onedosh served as the sole sponsor and facilitated ground activities that allowed students to interact directly with its platform, addressing common challenges related to digital payments, especially for subscriptions. The initiative also included a broader campus ambassador program to help drive awareness and adoption among students.
