Fintiri Submits Three Nominees for Commissioner Roles

On Tuesday, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State submitted three names for commissioner positions to the Adamawa State House of Assembly for screening and subsequent confirmation. The nominees are Sali Idri from Maiha LGA, Eng.

Muham Suleiman from Mubi North LGA, and Chubado Moham from Jada LGA. The assembly also received a separate letter containing the name of Iliya Gaji from Mubi North LGA, nominated as a member of the Adamawa State Independent Electoral Commission (ADSIEC).

Following the submission, the Speaker of the Assembly, Rt. Hon.

Bathiya Wesley, directed the clerk to inform the nominees to appear alongside their curriculum vitae for screening during the assembly's monthly session on March 9, 2026.
