Fire Destroys Shops in Kano Business Plaza Early Wednesday

On Wednesday morning, a fire outbreak occurred at approximately 4:01 AM, devastating part of a business plaza located at No. 20A Airport Road in the Fagge Local Government Area of Kano State. The incident primarily affected two hospital equipment shops situated on the ground floor of a two-storey building measuring 100 by 100 feet.

The Kano State Fire Service, upon receiving a distress call from a resident identified as Chukud, mobilized its emergency response unit immediately to the scene. Multiple firefighting trucks from various stations, including Abubakar Rimi Market, Kantin Kwari, and the Central Fire Station, were deployed to contain the blaze.

The Director of the Kano State Fire Service, Sani Ana, urged residents to take necessary precautions to prevent future fire outbreaks and advised the public to remain safety-conscious and promptly report emergencies to relevant authorities.
