Glemad Launches AI System to Combat Cyber Threats

Glemad, a cybersecurity research firm, has introduced an AI system known as Autonomous Defense Transform (ADT) aimed at autonomously detecting and responding to cyber threats. The system, developed by founder and CEO David Idri, is designed to operate in real-time, monitoring systems and analyzing activities to respond to threats as they occur.

The current version, ADT 4, can process 45,000 security events per second, achieving a threat classification accuracy of 97%. It autonomously resolves 95% of confirmed threats within 0.8 minutes and can execute actions without human approval, isolating attacks in milliseconds.

The technology has already been deployed to protect 680,000 digital assets. Glemad's model is available on enterprise platforms and integrates directly with existing infrastructures.

The launch comes amid reports that Nigerian organizations face the highest volume of weekly cyberattacks in Africa, averaging 4,200 attacks per week, significantly higher than the continent's average.
