Kartel Energy Trains 1,000 Solar Professionals in Nigeria

Kartel Energy Limited conducted a nationwide training program, the 2026 Technical Masterclass, aimed at educating 1,000 solar professionals in six cities across Nigeria. The initiative sought to address the technical knowledge gap hindering the country's renewable energy transition, focusing on high-voltage solar systems.

Participants included solar installers, technicians, engineers, dealers, distributors, entrepreneurs, and renewable energy enthusiasts. Ola Ogunsemowo, the Chief Executive Officer of Kartel Energy Limited, stated that the program was inspired by the need for practical, hands-on training as solar adoption increases in Nigeria.

The Masterclass provided participants with essential skills in modern technologies, particularly high-voltage systems and advanced inverter solutions. The program was offered free of charge to eliminate financial barriers to quality technical education.

Ogunsemowo emphasized that a better-trained workforce would enhance customer confidence and strengthen the renewable energy ecosystem in Nigeria.
