First Lady Tinubu Supports Young Artist with ₦10 Million

On September 12, 2026, Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, fulfilled her ₦10 million pledge to support the education of 12-year-old Ogun State artist, Master Morenikeji Ebunoluwa Joshua. This pledge was made on August 18, 2026, after Senator Tinubu was impressed by Joshua's portrait of her at the launch of the South-West Zonal National Food Bank Programme in Abeokuta.

The ₦10 million Education Development Trust Fund was presented to Joshua through the Ogun State Government, with Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun delivering the cheque. Abiodun emphasized that the pledge's fulfillment demonstrated a commitment to investing in young talent.

He noted that he had previously intervened in Joshua's education three years ago, providing a scholarship for his primary and secondary education. With this latest support from Senator Tinubu, Joshua's educational assistance has now been extended to the tertiary level, encouraging other youths to develop their talents.
