FirstBank Launches 2025 Corporate Responsibility Week Focused on Community Empowerment and Environmental Protection

FirstBank has commenced its 2025 Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Week, focusing on community empowerment, environmental protection, and sustainable development goals. The event aims to instill a culture of social responsibility within the community, encouraging staff and partners to participate in activities that enhance lives and foster sustainable growth.

Olayinka Ijabiyi, the Acting Group Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at FirstBank, highlighted the importance of giving back and showcasing kindness through various initiatives. As part of the activities, FirstBank plans to plant at least 20,000 trees in partnership with the Nigeria Conservation Foundation to support Nigeria's 2060 decarbonization agenda.

Staff across FirstBank's global entities will participate in volunteer programs addressing social and environmental challenges.
