FirstBank's 2025 CSR Week Promotes Kindness and Sustainability Across Africa

FirstBank in Nigeria has initiated its 2025 Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Week, focusing on promoting kindness, social impact, and environmental sustainability. The event, in its ninth edition, aims to empower communities, advance sustainable development goals, and drive positive social change.

Employees across FirstBank's subsidiaries in various African countries will volunteer for community-based projects and humanitarian outreach. Notably, the bank plans to plant 20,000 trees in collaboration with the Nigerian Conservation Foundation and support women with medical interventions in Borno and Katsina states to reinforce gender equality.

The week will also feature webinars and school outreach programs to promote empathy and civil participation.
