Nigeria U20 Flying Eagles Drawn Against Ghana in WAFU B

The Nigeria U20 Flying Eagles have been drawn into Group B of the WAFU B U20 Championship, where they will face Ghana's U20 Black Satellites, Togo's Junior Sparrow Hawks, and Burkina Faso's Young Stallions. The draw took place on Wednesday, with the tournament hosted by Côte d'Ivoire.

The Flying Eagles, under the guidance of head coach Abdu Maikaba, will depart Nigeria on Monday with a squad of 23 players, aiming to secure one of the two tickets available for the next year's U20 Africa Cup of Nations. The Flying Eagles are seven-time African champions and two-time FIFA World Cup silver medallists, and they are the defending champions of the WAFU B U20 Championship, having defeated Ghana's Black Satellites 2-1 in the final of the last edition held in Lomé.
