Ayokunle Celebrates Laolu Akande’s Voice of Truth Award

Supo Ayokunle, the former President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), congratulated Laolu Akande, the former presidential spokesman, on receiving the 2026 Voice of Truth Award presented by the Save Nigeria Coalition USA. The award ceremony took place at the Hilton Capitol Hill in Washington D.C.

Ayokunle praised Akande for his long-standing commitment to truth and integrity in public engagement, emphasizing that the award was well-deserved. Akande expressed gratitude for the recognition and highlighted his role in advocating for the designation of Boko Haram as a foreign terrorist organization by the U.S. government.

The event also honored Pastor Enoch Adeboye with the Patriarch of Faith Award. Stephen Osemwegi, president of the Save Nigeria Coalition USA, commended Akande for his unwavering commitment to truth and public advocacy, particularly regarding religious freedom for Christians in Nigeria.
