Kebbi State Former Deputy Governor Ibrahim Aliyu Dies

Ibrahim Aliyu, the former deputy governor of Kebbi State, died in a hospital in Sokoto after a prolonged illness. He was originally from Yauri Local Government Area.

Governor Nasir Idris reacted to Aliyu's passing by stating that Kebbi State has lost one of its most respected leaders, whose life was dedicated to selfless service and societal progress. In a statement from the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Yahaya Sarki, Idris described the event as a moment of great sadness and an irreparable loss to the Yauri Emirate, Kebbi State, and Nigeria.

The governor extended heartfelt condolences to Aliyu's family, the people of the Yauri Emirate, and all affected by his death. The statement emphasized that Aliyu's invaluable contributions to the state's development and his unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people would continue to inspire future generations.
