Over 1,000 Supporters Mobilized for Adeleke's Re-Election

Olamide Awosun, a former Labour Party House of Representatives candidate, mobilized over 1,000 members of the Village People Movement to publicly declare support for the re-election of Ademola Adeleke as Osun State governor. The political gathering took place at Enuwa Square in Ife and attracted a large crowd, including youth, women, students, civil servants, artisans, retirees, and various stakeholders from across the Ife federal constituency.

During the event, Awosun praised Adeleke's performance in infrastructure development, worker welfare, education, and healthcare, asserting that he deserves a second term. The Village People Movement, which consists of members from various local government areas, unanimously resolved to support Adeleke's re-election bid.

Prominent members, including Dr. Obisakin Busayo, commended Adeleke's leadership and urged the community to remain actively involved in the democratic process.

Yeyeluwa Modupeola Adeleke, the governor's elder sister, attended as a special guest and expressed appreciation for the movement's solidarity and commitment to the governor's leadership.
