SDP Chairmen Forum Supports New National Chairman Gomb

The Forum of Social Democratic Party (SDP) chairmen has officially hailed the appointment of Prof. Sadiq Abubakar Gomb as the new national chairman, following his recent ratification.

The forum, led by Mr. Idri Adamu, confirmed that Gomb's leadership reflects broad support within the party's National Executive Council (NEC).

In a statement released in Abuja on Thursday, the forum commended Gomb for his commitment and resilience in elevating the party's status. They acknowledged the contributions of various stakeholders, including former presidential candidates, in shaping the party's progress.

The forum also congratulated newly confirmed state chairmen and expressed hope that Gomb would lead effectively. The executive members of the SDP chairmen's forum were inaugurated, with Hon.

Femi Olaniyi Ferrari as chairman, Hon. Abba Modu as deputy chairman for the northern region, and Hon.

Okunlad Michael as deputy chairman for the southern region, among others. The forum called for continued efforts to promote the SDP as a credible alternative in Nigeria's political landscape.
