Foundation Donates 100 Wheelchairs to PWDs in Gombe

The Famili Trust Care Foundation, under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Hajiya Zainab Jamil Gwamna, collaborated with the Beautiful Gate Handicap People Centre to donate 100 wheelchairs to persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Gombe. This initiative is part of a humanitarian effort aimed at promoting inclusion, dignity, and independent living for individuals with disabilities.

Ibrahim Sani Shawai, spokesperson for Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, emphasized the importance of distributing mobility aids to restore hope and expand opportunities for PWDs to participate fully in society.

Hajiya Zainab noted that the wheelchairs would enhance access to education, healthcare, employment, and social participation. She reaffirmed the foundation's commitment to broader humanitarian work, including medical outreach, educational support, food relief, and empowerment programs for women, youth, and persons with disabilities.

The event also featured a presentation of N5,000 to beneficiaries, highlighting the foundation's dedication to supporting vulnerable groups and ensuring no individual is left behind.
