Franci Omatsey Foundation Empowers Traders in Delta

The Franci Omatsey Foundation, founded by Chief Franci Omatsey, empowered 1,200 petty traders and small business owners in Delta by providing cash support between ₦100,000 and ₦1,500,000, depending on the beneficiaries' needs. This initiative aims to enhance local entrepreneurship and provide financial assistance to those in need.

Chief Omatsey expressed his desire to give back to society, reflecting on his own life experiences and the importance of prayer and divine empowerment. He highlighted the success of previous empowerment programs that enabled beneficiaries to achieve varying levels of financial freedom and establish businesses.

During the event, Chief Omatsey donated ₦20 million to support the foundation's efforts, emphasizing the importance of uplifting less privileged members of society. The chairperson of the foundation, Mr.

Flora Alatan, confirmed that beneficiaries were thoroughly screened to ensure they met the criteria for cash support, which included individuals from various ethnic groups across Nigeria, such as Ijaw, Itsekiri, Urhobo, Ilaje, Yoruba, and Hausa.
