Nume Ekegh Foundation Launches Leadership Series at Wigwe University

The Nume Ekegh Foundation launched the Wigwe University Leadership Series, aimed at equipping young Africans with the mindset and practical skills necessary for sustainable business development. The inaugural event took place at Wigwe University in Isiokpo, River State, and was part of a broader strategy to advance the vision of the university's late founder, Dr.

Herbert Wigwe. The leadership series is designed to expose students and young entrepreneurs to real-life experiences from accomplished business leaders, providing practical insights into entrepreneurship and leadership.

The maiden edition attracted 320 students from Wigwe University, the University of Port Harcourt, and Abia State University, alongside youth leaders from the Isiokpo community. The event also marked the first stop of Tara Fela-Durotoye's nationwide campus tour to promote her latest book, "Build Beyond." Dr.

Emmanuel Attat moderated a fireside chat exploring lessons from Fela-Durotoye's journey, encouraging students to embrace uncertainty and remain committed to their ambitions.
