Ndume Urges FG to Act Against Insecurity in Borno

Ali Ndume, the former Senate leader representing Borno South Senatorial District, has called on the Federal Government to adopt proactive measures against insecurity in light of recent abductions in Borno State. His statement came after the kidnapping of 42 students from Mussa Primary Junior Secondary School in Askira Uba Local Government Area, attributed to suspected Boko Haram terrorists.

The incident occurred amidst ongoing examinations conducted by the National Examinations Council (NECO). Ndume emphasized the need for collaboration between the Federal and State Governments to effectively address the security challenges and ensure the safe return of the abducted students.

He expressed concern over the fate of the children kidnapped last month and urged security forces to intensify their efforts to combat the rising tide of insecurity and protect citizens from further attacks.
