PDP Governor Postpones Defection to APC Indefinitely Amid Security Concerns

Governor Agbu Kefa of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has postponed his planned defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC) indefinitely due to the kidnapping of schoolgirls in Kebbi State. This decision comes after a series of defections by PDP governors to the APC.

The postponement was announced to allow for urgent attention to the security situation. Additionally, the PDP Chairman of Taraba State, Abubakar Bawa, resigned ahead of his defection, citing leadership crises at the national level.

John Kizito Bonzena, a former teacher, also defected to the APC.
