FRSC Deploys 210 Personnel for Eid-el-Kabir Patrol

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Anambra State Sector Command has deployed 210 personnel for a special patrol operation during the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, scheduled from May 25 to May 31, 2026. This initiative aims to ensure safer roads during the festive period, as stated by the sector's public education officer, Margaret Onab.

The personnel will consist of regular and special marshals strategically deployed to facilitate smooth traffic flow and prompt emergency response. The operation is part of the FRSC's annual strategic intervention program designed to promote road safety management in anticipation of increased vehicular movement associated with the celebrations.

The patrol will focus on major traffic offenses, including speeding, dangerous driving, and vehicle defects. Additionally, mobile courts will be deployed to ensure the swift prosecution of traffic offenders.

The FRSC collaborates closely with the Nigeria Police Force and the Anambra State Traffic Management Agency to strengthen traffic management and security during this period.
