NSCDC Deploys 3,250 Personnel for Eid Security in Kano

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has announced the deployment of 3,250 operatives across Kano State to provide security during the Eid el-Kabir festivities. This decision was confirmed in a statement by the command's public relations officer, Ibrahim Idri Abdullahi, and approved by the commandant, Moham Hassan Agalama.

The NSCDC aims to ensure a peaceful celebration by focusing security efforts on various Eid prayer grounds, recreational centers, and other public places where people gather. Additionally, security measures will be intensified around critical national assets and infrastructure.

The NSCDC's rapid response squad will enhance surveillance and patrols to respond to emergencies as needed. The command has also issued a warning to criminal elements to refrain from any activities that could disrupt public peace, stating that any breach will be dealt with according to the law.
