FRSC Deploys 555 Personnel for Eid Patrol in Osun State

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced the deployment of 555 personnel for a special patrol in Osun State during the Eid el-Kabir celebration. This operation, disclosed by Mr.

Sundai Adebayo of the Osun State Sector Command, will take place from May 25 to May 31. The initiative aims to prevent road accidents and ensure a smooth flow of traffic during the festive period.

The sector command has advised road users to adhere strictly to road safety guidelines to avoid sanctions and dangerous driving. The operation will include three ambulances, two roadside clinics, one tow truck, and 15 patrol vehicles.

The FRSC will collaborate with other security agencies to clear road obstructions, identify causes of traffic accidents, and propose solutions. Motorists are urged to cooperate with the FRSC and obey traffic regulations, particularly regarding speed limits.

Adebayo also called on media organizations and stakeholders to support campaigns against road accidents in the state.
