FRSC and NSCDC Strengthen Partnership in Sokoto

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have committed to strengthening their partnership to enhance safety and security service delivery across Sokoto, North West Nigeria. This commitment was made on Thursday during a strategic courtesy visit by FRSC's Assistant Corps Marshal Shoba B.

Akand to the NSCDC Zonal Command, led by Assistant Command General Bello Argungu at the Zone 10 headquarters in Sokoto. Akand described the visit as a symbol of the strategic aim to reinforce the long-standing partnership between the two agencies and chart a path for robust cooperation.

He emphasized that effective service delivery, particularly in today's evolving security landscape, requires strong institutional synergy. Akand conveyed a goodwill message from FRSC Corps Marshal Mallam Shehu Moha, who noted that 2026 is designated as a year focused on professional discipline and improving public service.

Argungu praised the FRSC leadership for this initiative, highlighting the necessity of strengthening operational synergy to safeguard lives and critical national assets.
