FRSC Promotes 7,472 Personnel to Enhance Road Safety

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has approved the promotion of 7,472 personnel nationwide, which includes 2,134 officers and 5,338 marshals. This initiative is part of the FRSC's efforts to enhance professionalism, leadership, and road safety operations across Nigeria.

The announcement was made on Friday by Osondu Ohaeri, the Corps Public Education Officer at the FRSC National Headquarters in Abuja. The promotion recognizes personnel who have demonstrated dedication, competence, discipline, and commitment in their duties.

It is expected to motivate personnel and encourage greater dedication to the FRSC's mandate of promoting safety and reducing road traffic crashes. The decoration of the newly promoted personnel is scheduled from August 26 to August 28, 2026.

Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed described the promotion as both a reward and a responsibility, urging beneficiaries to justify the confidence placed in them. He emphasized the importance of professionalism, accountability, and service delivery in their new roles.
