FRSC Promotes 7,472 Personnel to Enhance Workforce

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has approved the promotion of 7,472 personnel, which includes 2,134 officers and 5,338 marshals, as part of its strategy to strengthen its workforce and enhance operational effectiveness. The decoration of the newly promoted ranks is scheduled from Wednesday, August 26, to Friday, August 28, 2026.

This promotion is based on merit and aims to recognize the dedication, competence, discipline, and years of service of personnel who have excelled in their duties, as stated by the corps spokesperson, Osondu Ohaeri. The Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, described the promotion as a reward for hard work and a call to greater responsibility, urging the newly promoted personnel to uphold professionalism and accountability.

He emphasized that the strength of the FRSC is reflected in the quality and commitment of its personnel. The promotion aligns with the FRSC’s human capital development strategy and aims to build a professional institution capable of addressing road safety management challenges in Nigeria.
