Ogun Mobile Court Convicts 17 Traffic Offenders

On Wednesday, a mobile court in Ogun State convicted 17 traffic offenders during a session held at Oger, presided over by Magistrate O.S. Fadahunsi.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) intensified enforcement against traffic violations along major routes, establishing a total of 30 traffic offenses during the session. All 17 offenders were convicted, with no acquittals recorded.

The session resulted in fines for 28 of the offenses. Superintendent Odunsi Afolabi, the public relations officer for the Ogun State FRSC command, emphasized the need for sustained enforcement to curb road accidents, particularly along the busy Oger corridor.

Sector Commander Akinwunmi Fasakin warned motorists against violating traffic regulations, highlighting the far-reaching consequences of disobeying traffic laws. The FRSC reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining public awareness campaigns to ensure safer roads across Ogun State.
