Fortis Global Insurance Board Meeting Set for July 23, 2026
Fortis Global Insurance Plc has notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited of a Board of Directors meeting scheduled for Thursday, 23rd July 2026. The meeting is convened to consider and approve the company's Unaudited Financial Statements for the second quarter ended 30th June 2026.
Fortis Global Insurance Plc (NGX: FTGINSURE) filed a regulatory notice dated 21st July 2026 informing the Nigerian Exchange Limited and the investing public of an upcoming Board of Directors meeting. The meeting is scheduled to hold on Thursday, 23rd July 2026, with the primary agenda item being the consideration and approval of the company's Unaudited Financial Statements for Q2 ended 30th June 2026.
In line with the NGX amended closed period rule, a closed period for trading in the company's shares commenced on 1st July 2026. This closed period will remain in effect until 24 hours after the Q2 Unaudited Financial Statements are officially released to the Exchange and the general public.
During the closed period, all insiders of the company and their connected persons are prohibited from directly or indirectly dealing in the securities of Fortis Global Insurance Plc in any manner. The notice was signed by Halima Jimada, the Company Secretary and Legal Adviser. The company's board comprises seven directors, including Chairman Akin Iroko, Managing Director Nomwen Emeghalu, and Executive Director Olutayo Amore.
