River State Governor Appoints Benibo Anabraba as New SSG Amid Contractor Warning

Governor Fubara of River State has appointed Benibo Anabraba as the new Secretary to the Government, replacing Tammi Danagogo. Anabraba, a former minority leader in the River State House of Assembly, will be sworn in on October 13, 2025.

The governor expressed displeasure with contractors handling a road project, warning of contract termination for failing to meet deadlines. The inspection was conducted alongside the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Special Projects, Hebron Wisdom, and the Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi.
