Fubara Commends NYSC for Enhancing Rural Healthcare

On a recent occasion at the NYSC permanent orientation camp in Nonwa Gbam, Tai, River State Governor Siminalayi Fubara commended the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) for its significant impact on rural healthcare delivery. He highlighted the NYSC's health initiatives as vital interventions that enhance community healthcare services and positively affect the lives of average Nigerians.

Fubara expressed his delight at the increasing number of corps members deployed to the state, which he attributed to the appreciation of parents and citizens for peace and good governance. He assured that his administration would continue to support initiatives aimed at improving the lives of graduates and youth.

During the event, NYSC State Coordinator Mr. Mose Oleghe noted the eagerness of corps members to contribute to nation-building and emphasized the need for urgent action to address accommodation challenges for the growing corps population, which included 3,665 members (1,328 male and 2,337 female) who swore an oath of allegiance.
