Fubara Celebrates Third Anniversary, Commits to Development

On Friday, Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State marked the third anniversary of his administration, reaffirming his commitment to the "Rivers First" mantra, which he described as the guiding philosophy behind his policies and programs over the past three years. In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Onwuka Nzeshi, Fubara highlighted significant investments in road infrastructure aimed at connecting rural communities to urban centers and creating economic opportunities for residents.

Major projects mentioned include the Port Harcourt Ring Road, Tran Kalabari Highway, and several others. The governor also noted his administration's focus on strengthening the education and healthcare sectors, prioritizing peace and security across the state.

He expressed appreciation for the trust placed in him by the people of Rivers State and assured that public funds would continue to be used for the public good. Fubara assumed office in May 2023 amid political tension and has emphasized infrastructure development and economic growth while navigating ongoing political disputes.
