FUDMA Rusticates 20 Students for Exam Malpractice

The Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA) in Katsina State has rusticated 20 students found guilty of various forms of examination malpractice. This decision was announced in a statement by the Director of Information and Protocol, Nasiru Abdul, following the 138th regular Senate meeting held on Wednesday.

The action was based on the recommendations from the Student Disciplinary Committee, which investigated cases of examination misconduct. The university's decision aligns with Section 13(3) subsection 13(3c) of its policy on examination irregularities and academic misconduct.

The rusticated students are from several faculties, including Computer Engineering, Social Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Education, Life Sciences, and Management. The Senate's action underscores the institution's commitment to upholding academic integrity and maintaining high ethical standards within the university.

The statement emphasized that the decision serves as a clear signal to students to strictly adhere to the rules and regulations governing examination conduct at the university.
