‘Fulani suffer more from bandits’ attacks’ – Miyetti Allah replies Plateau cleric, El-Buba

Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association Nigeria (MACBAN) responded to allegations made by Plateau cleric Prophet Isa, who accused Fulani herders of being behind the ongoing attacks and insecurity in the state. The cleric claimed that 80 percent of genocidal attacks in the state were carried out by Fulani militia members.

In response, MACBAN's National President, Baba, refuted these claims, stating that the notion of Fulani herders being responsible for the attacks was false and that they were actually victims of banditry and insecurity. He emphasized that many Nigerians wrongly believed that Fulani herders were the perpetrators, when in reality they were often the ones targeted and killed.

Baba urged the people of Plateau to stop profiling Fulani pastoralists as criminals and to seek justice for all affected parties in order to achieve peace in the state.
