JAMB Delists 23 CBT Centres for 2026 UTME Compliance

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially delisted 23 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres in preparation for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). This decision was announced by JAMB's spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, on Friday.

The delisted centres failed to meet the required operational and technical standards. Additionally, 89 other centres have received warnings regarding their compliance.

The mock UTME is designed to help candidates familiarize themselves with the CBT environment and assess their readiness. JAMB's actions reflect its commitment to maintaining examination integrity and ensuring that only fully compliant centres participate in the main UTME.

The list of affected centres includes locations across various states, including Abia, Anambra, Bayelsa, Delta, Edo, Abuja, Lagos, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Adamawa, and Akwa Ibom.
