FUOYE Student Union Elects New President and Leaders

The FUOYE Student Union has elected Mr. Ajayi Olusegun as its new President during an online election held at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE).

The election, which took place at the Collat Center in Ado Ekiti, was overseen by the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Administration, Prof. Tajudeen Opoola, and the Chairman of the Student Electoral Body, Mr.

Odelami Mose Ayotund. A total of 16,366 students were accredited to vote, and the election was described as credible, free, and fair.

Mr. Ajayi Olusegun, a 400-level student in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, is known for his commitment to student welfare and leadership.

Alongside him, Bolu Fashakin was elected as Vice President, Taiwo Victor Oluwadara as General Secretary, and Olatunbosun Oluwaferanmi as Assistant General Secretary. Other elected officials include Rabiu Azeez Olawal as Social Director and Isaac Ebenez Ekoyon as Sports Director, among others.
