Future Is Now Movement Appoints Henry Shield as DG

The Future Is Now Movement appointed Henry Shield as Director-General following a stakeholders' meeting held in Abuja on Monday. The appointment received unanimous endorsement from attendees, marking a significant milestone for the movement.

The Future Is Now Movement is a non-partisan initiative focused on youth engagement in governance and leadership, aiming to expand its structure nationwide. The movement plans to establish mobilization and mentorship programs for young Nigerians and has set a goal to engage at least 100 university campuses across the country.

The first campus engagement program will commence at Federal University Lafia in Nasarawa State, involving 300 students in discussions on leadership and governance. The movement has also begun strategizing partnerships with international development institutions to enhance youth participation in governance and peacebuilding.

The stakeholders expressed confidence in Shield's leadership capabilities to drive the movement's objectives and expand its reach across Nigeria.
