Ganduje Denies Joining NDC, Calls Defection Posters Fake

Abdullahi Ganduje, the former governor of Kano State and current national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has publicly denied claims of his defection to the New Democratic Congress (NDC). In a statement issued on Friday by his former Chief of Staff, Muhammad Garba, Ganduje described the posters circulating on social media that allege his defection as fake and a product of political mischief aimed at misleading the public and creating confusion among APC supporters.

He emphasized that he remains committed to the APC and its leadership under President Bola Tinubu, asserting that the claims of his joining the NDC lack political logic. Ganduje warned that unless the defamatory materials are withdrawn immediately, he would consider taking legal action against those responsible.

He urged APC members and the general public to disregard the misleading posters and reaffirmed his dedication to strengthening the party's position in future political engagements.
