Ganduje Denies Defection Rumors, Affirms APC Loyalty

Abdullahi Ganduje, the former governor of Kano State, has publicly denied rumors regarding his defection from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the New Democratic Congress (NDC). In a statement issued on Friday by his former Chief of Staff, Muhammad Garba, Ganduje described the allegations as false and politically motivated.

He emphasized his unwavering commitment to the APC, asserting that he has no intention of leaving the party. Ganduje labeled the posters circulating on social media that claimed his defection as part of a calculated campaign to mislead the public and create confusion among APC members.

He stated that such claims lack political logic and urged APC members and the general public to disregard the misleading posters. Ganduje reaffirmed his support for the leadership of Bola Tinubu and the APC, aiming to strengthen the party's position ahead of future political engagements.

He also warned that legal action would be taken against those responsible for the false claims.
