Gbenga Daniel Accuses Gov Dapo Abiodun Of Plotting To Demolish His Properties In Sagamu

Former Governor Gbenga Daniel has accused current Governor Dapo Abiodun of planning to demolish his properties in Sagamu. In a statement released by his aide Steve Oliyide, Daniel claimed that the state government had issued a notice of contravention and a threat of demolition for his Sagamu residence and Asoludero Court Conference Hotels Limited annex.

The notice cited violations of the Ogun State Urban Regional Planning Law 2022. Daniel refuted the allegations, stating that the buildings were constructed before the law was enacted.

He also mentioned a previous incident where his wife's property was threatened with demolition. Governor Abiodun's spokesperson, Kayode Akinmade, denied the accusations, stating that the state was only verifying building approvals.

Daniel has called for condemnation of the alleged plot.
