PFN Rejects Call to Remove INEC Chairman Over Genocide Comments

Pentecost Fellowship Nigeria (PFN) strongly opposes the Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigeria's demand to remove the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) over alleged genocide comments. PFN asserts the right of every Nigerian to express views freely, regardless of their public office.

The fellowship clarifies that the comments attributed to the INEC Chairman were made in a personal capacity and not related to his official electoral duties. PFN condemns calls for the Chairman's removal based on personal opinions and warns against penalizing public officials for expressing views outside their official responsibilities.
