Olubadan Calls for Constitutional Roles for Traditional Rulers

The Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, urged the Nigerian government to grant constitutional roles to traditional rulers to enable them to fulfill their responsibilities effectively. This statement was made in Ibadan while receiving Oba Michael Odunayo Ajayi, the Elerinmo of Erinmo – Ijesa Kingdom, in his palace.

Oba Ladoja emphasized the importance of unity among traditional rulers in Yoruba land and across Nigeria to foster mutual understanding and respect for the advancement of the country. He also accepted an invitation to attend the Agidanyin Founder’s Day Festival in Erinmo, scheduled for November 7 this year.

During the visit, Oba Ajayi praised Oba Ladoja for the warm reception and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to spend time with him, highlighting the respect and esteem in which Oba Ladoja is held by the people.
